Open Budget Process

2025/26 Budget Process:

The President's Budget Advisory Committee (PBAC) is an advisory committee comprised of students, faculty, staff, and administrators. The committee reviews University Operating Fund (UOF) funding requests and makes recommendations to the President for approval.

The Committee on University Resources and Planning (UR&P) is an advisory committee of the Senate comprised of students, faculty, staff, and administrators. The primary focus areas of UR&P include allocations of university resources, university budgets and their allocations, allocation of facilities and positions, allocation of special funds, patterns of prior expenditures, and general policy recommendations associated with present and future resource decisions.

April/May 2025:

The University is anticipating increasing mandatory costs with no additional funding to support them. For this reason, there is no discretionary funding to allocate, and divisions did not submit requests to the committee. PBAC will review the projected campus budget, which will then be sent to the President.
