Budget 101 Informational Session
For those interested in learning more about the SDSU budget process and its inter-relationships with the State of California and the Chancellor's Office budget processes. Participants will leave with a better understanding of the SDSU budgeting process.
Topics covered:
- Budget Process — overview of State, Chancellor's Office, and SDSU Budget processes
- Funding Sources — beyond appropriations, revenue sources including student fees, cost recovery, and other funds
- Carry-Forward Process — what happens to budget remaining at year-end
- Account Segments — what the values mean and why they matter

Position Management Training
For individuals responsible for creating and modifying positions, and for coordinating position and payroll activity within their departments, colleges, or divisions. Participants will better understand inter-relationships between position management, employment, payroll, and labor cost distribution.

Adaptive Training
For users of Adaptive Insights budgeting and planning software. Participants will leave with a better understanding of the tools available in Adaptive Insights to help departments, colleges, and divisions manage their budgets. Training requires a login to Adaptive Insights. Contact your Divisional Coordinator to inquire about access.
